…on a rainy day in Milwaukee.
The Walkmen have been around for about 7 years now, and I’ve heard rumblings and grumblings, good and bad, about them, but I’ve never really given them a fair chance. They have a very unique sound that they have been working on for the last few years. Started off sounding a lot like the Strokes, but have since moved on to bigger and more interesting sounding things either way, they have a rainy day, headphone, walking around with your walkmen, kinda sound. They are coming to Milwaukee at the Turner Hall Ballroom on July 21st So enjoy….
