5 Songs To The Weekend: Passion Pit, Delorean, The Mirrors, Washed Out, The Very Best

The thought of 5 songs to the weekend is to convey the overwhelming feeling of joy and… well, I guess, relief that your time is now yours and yours alone for the next 2 days. Usually reflecting on music covered earlier in the week along with new and revisited tracks. This week the music, I think, captures this better than any past installment. It’s full of warms and bright sythn arrangements, strong back beats, and poppy vocals. It’s alllll pretty easy on the ears.

Delorean‘s Seasun is a slow builder but right around the 2:30 mark the top blows off and it’s anthemic. The Mirrors Look at Me is electro pop cool, sounding straiigght outta the 80′s. .. and I’m alright with that. To the weekend!
