This week’s mix, in my opinion, could be one of the best this year. Mainly it’s just what is currently on my ipod… the car rides and 9-5 web-design have been a little bit better lately.

Discovery‘s I wanna be your boyfriend (the Vampire Weekend / Ra Ra Riot’s unexpected side project) is electro-pop bliss. The verse has familiar feel and delivery and is catchier than most choruses crafted lately.

I got turned on to Toro Y Moi recently and Blessa is a psyhc-popped out smooth jam in the Panda Bear vein.

Times New Viking bring a catchy hook to the rampant lo-fi scene. As reported earlier in the week, The Dodos released a new single and are streaming their entire new album… check it out… but after you check this mix-tape.

Hercules & Love Affair’s remixed blind re-vamps itself into a faster paced club disco hit (if you could think that was possible)

Mando Diao, a SXSW gem, bring old school horns and 70′s nostalgia on the burner The Shining.

I’ve been waiting patiently for some new Chromeo to come out… but for the mean time we have DJ Eleven’s So Simple to fill the void.
