The surprise super-group Monsters Of Folk joins giants Jim James (my morning jacket), Conor Oberest (bright eyes), M. Ward, and Mike Mogis. They are set to release their first disc titled…. well, Monsters Of Folk. After first listen I was surprised to hear more of an old school R & B feel. This could be because they are the released singles. Anyways, with a line-up like this I’m pumped to hear the rest of the disc. For more information about the release and tour go here.
