Filthy Dukes – Nonsense In The Dark

We took a mulligan on the Dirty Dutchesses, the Krafty Kings and yes, even the Slutty Princesses( sigh must..be…strong..HA!), but we took a supa deep bow to electric nobility, The Filthy Dukes. I say this all the time..but it is true, these guys are digital demons and if you haven’t dug in yet…what are you waiting for?! At the very least, you would have had to not be listening to music,if you haven’t heard one of their million remixes out there. We have feat  Filthy Dukes tracks early this year here and there, but it came to the Wiz’s attention that The Bird had not done a proper posting on their triple tre bien debut album Nonsense In The Dark.  Sometimes we get lost with all the stuff going on in the henhouse lo siento! Bottom line, these guys are Jimmy Walker to be sure!

The Filthy Dukes released their LP , Nonsense In the Dark,  via Polydor UK.  Nonsense In The Dark was recorded on ,kinda important, Conny Plank’s mixing desk which was the same desk that shot out albums from a little known band called Kraftwerk…whoever they are Ha!. This disc has a bunch of sicko guest vocals Brandon Curtis of Coop fave Secret Machines and Orlando Weeks from The Maccabees to name a couple. This Dj crew/band needs to be on your to do list somewhere near the.. oh I would say hmm..the top part? yes that sounds about right!

Give the lads from the land of chips and pints of bitter a whirl and download these killer tracks. Get ready to have your wig blown back and get your tootsies ready for some toe curling synthy hotness just like mom used to make! OOO and before I forget, you really have to plaster yer peepers on the sicko redico music vid for the single, Messages, here! It es magnifique! Have fun!
