First Track From The Almighty Defenders

A couple of weeks ago the Seizing Chicken posted a preview of what will surely be the greatest band ever, the King Khan/Black Lips collaboration, The Almighty Defenders. Today The Almighty Defenders posted their first track on Myspace.

The track is an undulating chorus of drunken gospel, full of yelps and howls, entitled “Bow Down and Die”. The track is what everyone is expecting from The Almighty Defenders, lo-fi southern punk.

For your listening enjoyment, here is “Bow Down and Die,” as well as a King Khan cut called, “Welfare Bread,” for those of you who are unfamiliar with the King.
