Thursday Retrospect Vol III

This week is the Supremely Awesome Super Terrific mix of my top Tracks. If Paul McCartney, Cornelius, Al Green, Animal Collective and Jim O’Rourke made an album together, all things in the world would be good and right. Enjoy.
mp3: Animal Collective- Did You See the Words
Feels- One of the MOST mood fitting albums ever. If you wanna drive around and sulk or wanna cruise around at night with your sunroof open, this is your album. Get it. Love it. Hate it for a while. Then go back and love it again with all of your heart.
mp3: Al Green- Here I am (Come and Get Me)
Al Green Greatest Hits- The Wizard loves AL Green, and so should you. This is possibly one of the greatest “greatest hit albums” of all time AND the Landmark (a Seizure Chicken favorite MKE hang out) has it in their juke box, so thats awesome.

mp3: Cornelius- Drop
Point- This album opened me to a whole other type of music from overseas: Japan. This dude and his band put together a SICK album. If you haven’t already seen them live, you need to. The Sensuous Synchronized Show was possibly one of the coolest shows I’ve ever been to. Awesome.com
mp3: Paul Mccartney- Monkberry Moon Delight
Ram- Everyones mom or dad has this album on vinyl (or at least mine did) and it made me appreciate Paul’s nerdiness soo much more. Also, hes awesome. Does anyone else think that this song single handily spawned Man Man? Also, check this out from our buddy at atenderpraise.com
mp3: Jim O’Rourke- Life Goes Off
Insignificance- This dude is SOOOO underrated. He produced Wilcos YHF and I really believe, made it what it was. He has a terrific solo carreer and a new album coming out. GET THIS ALBUM. This track has one of the coolest endings to any album of alltime and had led me to listening to the album back to back on many occasions.
