Sadly for The Wave Machines, the male modeling gig just didn’t pan out…for some uh..reason…roiiiiggghhht, but happy happy joy joy for us that allowed The Wave Machines to bring us their debut lp, Wave If You’re Really There, via Neopolitan.
These Poppy Chaps from Liverpool (the birth place of a band that IS better then Blur) have a neato sweeto, electricky synthy pop jam we dig. I could ramble on for literally pages about random stuff loosely related to music and or this band, exotic fruit and my predilection for the films of Wes Anderson….but you need to check this band out now ! and the music speaks for itself es tre bien! I could write the most flowery review..but if it sucks..it sucks. This doesn’t, Bet!. The Chicken has your back and also, oddly enough, your original press Aja vinyl and we are NOT giving it back! Now on to the good stuff!
