My weekend Man-stravaganza of camping and howling at the moon has been squandered due to fall being completely bypassed by the MKE weather spirits. Whatevs, could be worse right…. like, everyone could be mad at me for sleeping with my secretary (Letterman) or winning the Nobel Peace Prize (the hope machine).

So, I digress. There are some pretty dec shows around the Milwaukee parts this weekend. Stoked for Bon Iver and walking my ass off for AIDS.

I always thought of the Raveonettes as a one trick pony but I’m digging their new disc, In and Out Of Control. Chazzbot got pissed at me earlier today about writing off The Temper Trap months ago when he passed some files along. I’m not here waving their flag or anything but it’s grown on me. Its a shame that anytime anyone hears a guitar with delay on it they throw the U2 rip-off card. Damn you Edge!! I dunno, ask me in a week about TT.
