Get To Know: Diamond Rings

The only way to hear Diamond Rings (D’Urbervilles‘ frontman John O’Regan) is to know someone (most likely a Canadian someone) who bought the limited edition, purple,  7” vinyl, Diamond Rings/P.S. I Love You.

Alas, only 300 copies were printed by John O’Regan’s own Hype Lighter label, so these songs are nearly unattainable.

In fact, the only song readily available is “All Yr Songs,” an consciously under produced love song with dead pan sentimentality and a five dollar keyboard beat.  This is a great modern era pop song with the right balance of corniness and sincerity, plus the video even features a mid 90′s era Bucks jersey.
