The pair recently collaborated on the Danger Mouse/Sparklehorse album Dark Night of the Soul. In my opinion, ‘Insane Lullaby’ was the best song on the disc. Evidently, the boys agreed and have linked up for a full length under the name Broken Bells. The super-duo’s first single released, High Road, sounds pretty promising. Let’s be honest, there are a lot of Shins haters out there but James Mercer consistently writes incredibly infectious melodies.
