Caught these girls opening up for King Khan & BBQ at Milwaukee’s Mad Planet last night. Did I ever get the shit kicked out of me. From cord one, verse one (“I’ll bring the cunt, you bring the prick” or something to that effect), I knew that this wasn’t going to be a snooze opener situation. Baritone ukulele’s, bass switching, and Epiphone Casino’s larger than the girls themselves, were set ablaze while the crowd bobbed, instantly smitten. Look out for Those Darlins in 2010.
