5 Songs To The Weekend: Neon Indian, Harlem, Broken Bells, Jaill, Yeasayer

It’s been a minute since we’ve posted a 5 songs to the weekend. Now that the holidays are over, I’m trying to catch up. Neon Indian brought a live band to Daytrotter a couple of weeks back and the tunes are amazing. It’s really cool to hear these electronic tracks sans drum machine and full of room noise. The Mad Chef and I have been talking about Harlem quite a bit lately. Look out for them in 2010. The Danger Mouse / James Mercer (of the Shins) combo ‘Broken Bells‘ is proving to be pretty infectious after repeat listens. Jail‘s ‘There’s No Sky (Oh My My)‘ has a strangle hold over my radio as of late. Out Of Your Boots is one of the best tunes on that album. The last track Yeasayer‘s dance joint from upcoming ‘Odd Blood’. Happy Weekend + MKE we’ll see you Sunday!
