Produced by DFA’s James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), Free Energy’s forthcoming debut album, Stuck On Nothing, will be released digitally Mach 6, 2010 and physically May 4, 2010 on Astralwerks/DFA Records. “I loved making that record. It was so good to record guitars again. I kind of forgot that I used to be really good at that — recording guitars.” explains Murphy.

S.O.N is chalk full of garage-rock party anthems. Expect big things from FREE ENERGY in 2010. The group is supposed to be the bee’s knees live, so go see a show! (tour dates below)
