The Memphis, Tennessee band, Magic Kids, feature members of The Barbaras and Girls of the Gravitron.
Currently, Magic Kids have a 7″ out on Goner and are on tour with everyone’s ’09 faves – Girls – and the Chicago natives Smith Westerns. I’m going to leave out the ‘sounds like’ and ‘highly influenced’ by Brian Wilson / Beach Boys lines. Frankly, if I read another review of an indie band with “Beach Boys-esuqe” in the body, I might just puke.
