Sub Pop’s 2k10 Mile Stereo

Every-one’s favorite label Sub Pop is prepping another banner year in 2010. Recent acquisitions of Beach House, Happy Birthday, Dum Dum Girls, and Milwaukee fave‘s Jaill have set precedence as the early year’s buzzbands. Yesterday, the label released a handful of free downloads from up-coming releases sending the blog world (can’t get behind the ‘blogosphere’ terminology) into hype mode. Merited, though.

The success of Beach House’s past two albums has been bubbling up for the last couple of years. I think I’m with the majority of indie folk when I say Beach House’s ‘Teen Dream‘ is blow up when official release time comes around.

Now all we need is some more details about the Fleet Foxes‘ follow up. It’s going to be a good year.
