The Morning Benders – I Wanna Be Like You
I’ve been listening to a lot of The Morning Benders in recent weeks, as I try and will spring to come round and today its gorgeous. I thought I would share this 2008 cover in case you missed it, cause it’s awesome. The Morning Benders released this blissful, jangly, jungle rock infused cover of I Wanna Be Like You on a live iTunes exclusive EP in November 2008. They have been everywhere lately and while they’re are making great new music, I wanted to give props to this older track because, way before you were cool, you probably, like every other kid, jammed to Disney’s absolutely exceptional catalog. Point being, I guess, the sun is out and this should make you smile.
