Coltrane Motion – Hello Ambition!
Good things come in pairs..shots of Patron… more shots of Patron… Will Smith/Martin Lawrence buddy cop comedies(aww c’mon..you dig em..we won’t tell!!). So it comes as no surprise that Chitown electrorock duo, Coltrane Motion, is tre bien. Obvs the first thought was superduper!! a jazz band!! Au contraire mon frer!! I stand corrected. This is chockfull of synthy. droning, rockface goodness. Their sophmore album, Hello Ambition! , just came out on lead singer, Michale Bond’s, label datawaslost . Homeboy used to be a music blogger as well.. so really… he is three steps ahead of the game. Well played sir! Well played!
