Get Hip: Knight School
Surprise, surprise! Brooklyn has birthed yet another act that produces catchy tunes with purposely shitty production values. Knight School, two dudes with guitars and some vocal chords (Kevin Alvir & Chris Balla) made a record of some seriously infectious, “snap your fingers motherfuckers” pop music that is worth your coin. Dig this if you’re into anti-pop lyrics and abrasive sounding cassettes that have that ‘already broken in’ feel.
