Mp3: Braids – Native Speaker
I am supremely grateful for two things right now.. numero uno… that I am not Tony Hayward… sheeshus what a fn mess thanks BP fail fail fail… and dos: that bands like Braids are kicking out the dope jammalammadingdongs( I don’t really know where that came from but it felt right so I am going with it..)
Braids – Native Speaker popped out of the aural birthing canal(eww) last month and is a must listen disc. Braids call Montreal home ( Chalk another one up for Canada, WOOT!) and despite that fact have a shockingly low count of songs aboot maple syrup, being rhilly nice, and moose..wait. mooses? meese? moosen?? hmm.. they have nyet tunes in fact! boo! That sad tidbit doesn’t stop their album from being pretty durn good though aye!
We featured Braids in what was lauded as the best mix tape of the year so far ( as far as all people that are me are concerned ) and if you dinnae get the hint you need to cop this album and put it on repeat! Why arghh these canucks unsigned?? We do not know!!
