Awkward Delight: Dent May
Dent May is a Mississippian with a voice as pretty and unsettling as a loon’s. On “That Feeling,” which is a preview of his upcoming Paw Tracks release, May’s awkwardness as well as talent are on full display. Before someone makes another Beach Boys comparison they should shove a rake up their asshole and realize that everything sounds like Pet Sounds these days, and we just have to accept that.
