Guest List: Pauly Shore on Summer Music

Our guest blogger for July is none other than, Pauly Shore (the weasel, the weez, comedian, actor, and star of countless comedic gems of my adolescence). Pauly sent me an email (below) telling us about how he marched with Dr MLK, what music he listens to while pruning his plants, and that we should all buy his new mockumentary DVD Adopted.

Pauly Shore’s cool summer tracks….

Being more of a video guy, my taste in music is pretty varied.  I obviously like the new Eminem CD, even without the accents, but here are a few other tunes I’m listening to right now:

Rolling Stones:  Mothers Little Helper

The Clash:   I fought The Law

The Kinks:  You really got me

JayZ:  99 Problems

The Who:  Bubba O’Reilly

Led Zepplin:   All of my love

Kings of Leon:  Sex on Fire

The Killers:     Spaceman

Once summer rolls around, you have to start with a few classic rock songs.  Mother’s Little Helper is my nickname for Butter after a few cocktails.  I Fought the Law obviously reminds me of the time I marched in the civil rights movement marches with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr..  The Kinks, You Really Got Me, was the first song I serenaded a woman by holding a radio over my head awaking her and her mom…. Her mom was hot.    JayZ reminds of the me when I was young, except not as Jewish…

The Who is my evening song, I listen to this while pruning my plants.  Led Zepplin is always in my car’s 8-track player in case a homeless person tries to talk to me.   The Killers, Spaceman is the song I ask them to play when in the schvitz. Now when I get with the ladies, I do try to make sexy time fun with a little Kings of Leon, Sex on Fire.  I know some guys hate that song, but ladies love it.

Now, buy my mockumentary DVD Adopted.  Or better yet, take a shot at directing me for once in my first YouTube challenge!  Do it or else I’ll put together another music list…. Hanson is criminally underappreciated.
