Cee-Lo is Officially Better Than Everyone Else
Cee-Lo wants you to know that you’re an xbox, and he’s an atari, but the way you play the game ain’t fair. “Fuck You,” is now the reason to look forward to the October 4th release date of the mercurial emcee’s solo album entitled The Ladykiller, which had little to no momentum gathering due to the two insipid releases of “Georgia,” and “No One’s Gonna Love You”.
Mr. Green gets pretty weird on this soul track, which includes a crybaby breakdown and a couple of foul mouthed back-up singers. The honesty and authenticity is what keeps “Fuck You” from becoming too campy or over the top, plus you can dance to it, unlike 90% of the rest of the sappy shit we bloggers post all over the upturned and expectant face of the internet.
