Milwaukee Concert Ticket Give-Away: LCD Soundsystem, Sleighbells, Smith Westerns, Dawes, + More

Things look a little different here at SeizureChicken. We’ve tried to fix some quirks and bugs (and have made some more, so bare with us while we make the switch over to the new site) and make the user experience a little better. To kick things off we have tickets to 6 of the very best upcoming Milwaukee concerts to give away.
Leave a comment below with your favorite live show this year and which tickets your interested in and we’ll pick the winners by Thursday (10/21) at noon. Make sure to leave a functioning email address, as this is the way we’ll contact you if you win.

OMG Sleigh bells pleaseeee!!! the best show I’ve seen this year was Iron and Wine just last week.
Already have my Smith Westerns and Futurebirds tickets, but would love Morning Benders + Twin Sister!!
So many good shows to choose from! I think I have to go with Edward Sharpe and the Mag-net-ic Zer-os sold out show at the Pabst.
I would love to get rowdy and dance at Sleigh Bells.

I would honestly take tickets to any one of these shows. and i’d have to second Edward Sharpe at the pabst
The Eels concert a few weeks ago was JAWSOME! I would love to see LCD and Hot Chip!
This is awesome. I would love any of these tickets, but most of all Morning Benders w/Twin Sister and Sleigh Bells.

Titus Andronicus at the Project Lodge was intense. My definite favorite.
I’d LOVE to see Morning Benders + Twin Sister or Sleigh Bells but seeing any of these would be great…
Edward Sharpe was by far the best.

Sunday at Lollapalooza was the best. I’ve never feared for my life at a concert before. The Antler’s, The Dodos, Mumford & Sons, Hockey, Yeasayer, MGMT, Arcade Fire, and Soundgarden.
Morning Benders man!!!
Lollapalooza was incredible this year, and it is hard to choose a favorite, but Arcade Fire and Edward Sharpe were incredible. Ed Sharpe lived up to their standards from the Milwaukee show and put on the most energetic performance I have ever seen. And Arcade Fire blew my mind. I would pay any amount of money to see them again.
Now I need to see The Morning Benders or LCD Soundsystem!
Wave Machines @ Moct in March. Which feels like ages ago now, I actually had to double check it wasn’t last year!
Points of awesomeness…
1. They are brilliant
2. The venue stinks, but the five of us present didn’t care nor did the band.
3. I got drunk on vodka for the first time (I’m 31!)
4. After the show the place turned into a dance party.
5. There are a lot of pretty girls who frequent that bar.
6. Somebody asked me to sign a cd, because i they thought i was in the band!
LCD Soundsystem would be the show I’d most like to see, especially for Hot Chip.
Ps. Twin Sister were brilliant at Cactus Club a few months back. People should check them out.

I thought the Beach House concert was amazing.
favorite show: Gogol Bordello @ the Subterranean post lolla. 300 people max, front row. eugene sweating on my face.
Best milwaukee show: villagers at discovery world. the place was buzzing but very few people were actually watching this intimate show. awesome, awesome, awesome.

Arcade Fire in the cities last month was outstanding.
I’d love to see either LCD Soundsystem or Dawes.
I think my favorite show this year was ty segall at empty bottle because melted is probably the best release i’ve heard so far.
I’d really like tickets to see smith westerns. Their last album was the best of ’09 and i even got to celebrate my birthday at one of their shows. I’m anxious to hear what they’ve been working on and i know they won’t disappoint.

Favorite show? That’s tough to narrow down but the Muzzle of Bees 5 year Anniversary show was pretty good.

That Beach House show was fabulous, though I also had a great time at the totally under-attended Apples in Stereo show! But getting to see Midlake twice in one year was the real bright spot of 2010. Love those guys!

The Arcade Fire : Brixton Academy, London 2007 at their peak of neon bible release. Met them at a market the day of, got on the vip guest list and hung out with them and the label people the rest of the night. Best show ever, at one of the best venue’s.
Interested in sleigh bells tickets
I have probably seen 50+ shows this year and I have five that clearly stand out. The Avett Brothers at The Riverside was incredible. The Flaming Lips and Edward Sharpe were both very close behind. Broken Social Scene was top notch, and of course The National, The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, and Arcade Fire at Lollapalooza. Wilco in Madison was pretty darn good too!
It’s tough to pick your favorite child.
I’d certainly take tickets to Morning Benders or Dawes.
