Dawes Give Away – Madison & Milwaukee Tickets + 7″

Dawes are making a couple stops in our fair state this week, Madison’s Majestic Theatre on November 12th and Turner Hall in Milwaukee the 13th.

We’ve got 2 pairs of tickets to give away to their Majestic Theatre show and 1 pair to their Turner Hall show. Also, each pair of tickets will come with an exclusive 7″ record from the band. All of this for the low low price of a comment in the comment section below. Tell us what your favorite fall album is and which show you would like to go to. We will pick the winners on November 11th around noon.

If your don’t win, don’t fret. You can buy tickets to the Madison show here and the Milwaukee show here.

There are so many great Fall albums. Top three right now are The Moondoggies-Tidelands, Mavis Staples-You Are Not Alone, and Warpaint-The Fool.

I think I’m more excited to see The Moondoggies than Dawes. Dawes is great live. If you don’t win the tickets, I highly recommend going to the show anyways. Best $10 you’ll ever spend.

Favorite Fall record is Songs For a Blue Guitar by the Red House Painters. I’d like to see the Dawes show at Turner Hall in MKE.

  3. My favorite fall album is Nick Drake’s “Pink Moon.” As the leaves fall and the cold sets in, Drake’s delicate tenor and guitar playing is just the perfect soundtrack for me. A Dawes 7″ would be a great addition to my fall music listening, too. Turner Hall is my local venue.

    Thanks y’all!

Oh, btw, I’m in Milwaukee and would love the Turner Hall tix.

My favorite album for the fall is “Early in the Morning” a recently released debut from James Vincent McMorrow. It’s amazing what he’s done on this album! However, I’m very excited to go see Dawes as well on Friday in Madison. Free tickets would be better though!
