Carnivores – Heart of Copper mp3
Go ahead and plug your oversized headphones into the Atlanta-based pysch-punk of Carnivores, clearly born when Jurassic Park was hella cool (still cool) and paleontology was on the future-careers-list. Although they bounce between full-on punk and a swishy, romantic new age thing, they’ve got a pretty great lo-fi sound that is not even slightly reminiscent of ripping through animal flesh. Check it.
