Super sad news bears! TVOTR bassist and keyboardist , Gerard Smith, shuffled off this mortal coil yesterday. We are definitely dragging our beak and our hearts go out to his friends and family.  We choose to celebrate Gerard’s work (instead of mourning his passing) with one of the best bands of our generation if not ever. He will truly be missed!

TVOTR’s new album, Nine Types Of Light ,is FUCKING AMAZING is out now and I spin it daily(really). One of if not the best albums (of any genre) so far in 2011 and I doubt much can come out to sway me from it. Just gets better the more We listen to it.  To give you an idea of how much I like TVOTR if Radiohead and TVOTR were hanging of a cliff and I could choose only one (I would probably mentally shutdown haha).. well it was nice knowing you Thom Yorke. Oddly enough.. TVOTR’s first album was called OK Calculator.. enjoy.
