Mp3: Chad VanGaalen – Diaper Island
Out of left field (for us) comes one of this weeks favourite releases! Chad VanGaalen’s , Diaper Island, Via Sub Pop was not something we were looking for, but glad we found!
I don’t know about other people’s listening habits, but we generally tend to listen to everything we can then go from there. If you are more finicky, this is mos def an album you should check out this week.. even if it is outside of your wheelhouse. Canuck, Chad VanGaalen cracked it out of the park.
My fave track so far is a beautiful little haunter called , Shave My Pussy, …which before you immediately stop reading haha! is actually a song about the ridiculously unrealistic “standards” for beauty women are expected to follow and the ensuing insanity/depression. Ladies we love you in all ages, shapes and sizes.. which is consequently why we often have to do some day after untagging ha!
