New Death Cab Is Pretty Much What You’d Expect
I have always had mixed emotions on Death Cab For Cutie. On one hand they are a consistent always well done(if sometimes forgettable) turtleneck and horn rim glasses pop band …on the other hand Ben Gibbard stole my dream girl.. so I am conflicted haha
This album is pretty much the same old dealio + Analog Synth/Strings aka if you like Death Cab you will dig this album.. if you think they hoover… well this prolly won’t change your mind. I can always pull a few tracks off of a Death Cab album that I dig , but I have never just been slackjaw floored by one (closest call was Transatlanticism) and it tis biz as usual with Codes and Keys.
