Dig The Pacifics’ Debut EP – “Play Favourites”
We missed this monophonic release when it first came out on The Pacfics’ own Mistkäfer Records imprint, but thankfully Bachelor is releasing it as well and were kind enough to give us the heads up! Dubliners, The Pacifics, made the interesting choice to release an EP of covers (Bo Diddly, Little Richard, Hamburg era Beatles and Chuck Berry) as their first offering, but thankfully these guys nail the 50′s rocnrol sound…so we don’t pay it no nevermind. If you are feeling nostalgic or just maybe think it was all downhill since poodle skirts and sock hops, this should be right in your wheelhouse.
