Hear Mathemagic – II

Hailing from Toronto the trio Mathemagic puts out some of the most dreamy eyed tunage I have heard in a long time bar none. It is always a shock to find out bands like this are not only relatively unknown, but give their albums away for free! To be a lazy A, in current-sh terms.. think The XX but better lusher, smoother and more organic sounding.  The layered vocals on the LP just kill and float on twinkles, strums, steel and warm electronics.  The album is a gorgeous, lovesick haunter. I know it sounds like a homogeneous gush but we really don’t share stuff we don’t think you need to hear.  XYZ could be the biggest band right now or the cewwwelst and it doesn’t get spun hard in the coop if we think it is no buens!

You can nab , II, for the “shake me I am dreaming” price of free at their bandcamp here and I am pretty pysched to see what up with this band..I mean they just started a Facebook so it is early days! I expect they won’t be bandcamping for long. Sick Sick. Dig!
