Lanterns On The Lake Announce New Album, Release Track
Still raining… still in chill mode so Lanterns On The Lake fits the bill. Old blighty has been the home court to yet another gem of a group, this time one with adjectives like haunting…ethereal.. celestial as descriptors. We just think it is a right beaut. The colours used to paint this album range from guitars and mandolin to synths and glockenspiels. A kalimba is also in the mix! Multi-instrumentalism and diversity no doubt give this an epic scope.
The lead cut from the LP due in the fall is You’re Almost There and it sounds like the most bittersweet starcrossed love. Achingly beautiful. Perfect for rainy days or the one who got away. Dig!
