Seriously…it is The Stones…this had to happen. I recently made an interestink observation though…everyone says they love The Stones, but most people say things like oh Exile on Mainstreet is amazing (it is) and then says the new stuff isn’t that good .I really don’t listen to much of it past 1981 so…it could be great or terrible..just being honest. I firmly believe the best time for all rock was 1973 to 1978 and the Stones fit into that package.

That Exile etc statement is, with minor variations, what I hear time and time again. Like some musical mantra. Everyone has Hot Rocks and makes some joke about Richards still being alive.  I think being a music fan and a Stones fan is synonymous. They are quintessential “cool”.  The day you decide you like music you instinctively know you are to like the Stones..even if somehow you don’t…which would baffle me.

I originally wanted to do a deeper cuts of The Stones so this didn’t look like a greatest hits, but I mean.. really they have like 100+ singles…and a lot of them are among my favourite songs from them or anyone else.,,meaning this will look a lot like a greatest hits haha. If you are an Exile, Hot Rocks type (a social Stones fan)…dig deeper..if you are a fan from 1980′s on clue me in.  If  current 5 year olds were given The Stones instead of  Cyrus/ Bieber the world might be a better place. They can keep Raffi..he is the jam haha. Spin some of my fave stones songs.
