Wilco Debuts New Tunes Live At Solid Sound Festival!
Wilco just got done with Wilcopalooza (their Solid Sound Festival) and we knew they would not only be putting on a rad show, but debuting new tunes..and we were right on both counts! We, sadly, missed the madness in Massachusetts, but thank god for Etree so we don’t have to miss the shows completely. The set lists were redicatarded, but the “ooo did I just wet myself??” moment was no doubt the jawdrop of Red Eyed And Blue > I Got You( At the End Of the Century) followed by (sadly not jammed into) I Got You ( Split Enz cover W/ Neil Finn). Pretty sick.
Big surprise as gigantic Wilco fans we heart the new stuff and we assume a lot of you are as smitten as we are.. hence you want to hear the tracks(live or studio) asap. One track we do have a studio version of that they played was the B side to I Might… The Nick Lowe Cover I Love My Label so that ver is studio below. We previously posted I Might studio ( link below) so no need to rehash. If I had my way I would post both shows in full for over 50 tracks of Chicago heat, but for now the new stuff will have to suffice (plus I am not keen on converting that many songs from FLAC to mp3 on my compusaurus haha)…I am sure you can find the shows with a little digging;) and really you should.. the setlists are just silly and after the jump!
