Honeydrum – Pleasures Of The Sun EP
Way to go Joisey! New Brunswick’s Honeydrum has put out a gnarly little 6 tracker. Lazy man description is a sunnier Ariel Pink vibe. If you asked me though..what I would tell you is that first.. this is rad syrupy, synthed out pysch pop and secondly Joseph Black’s vocals are a standout. On one hand I am startled I haven’t heard them until now, but on the other hand.. better now then never! I suspect if this keeps up there is a bril LP in Honeydrum’s future. in other news, this is one of the first times I completely agree with the single choices which is a blue moon event haha. This disc gets the coop’s seal of approval check these tracks out and then go bomb through the bandcamp at the link below. This is a limited 50 cassette run so be quick on the draw kids!
